Lunar New Year Event

After launching our Asia servers in the fall we needed an update for January that could be launched after our long Christmas holidays.

I concepted, designed & delivered the Lunar New Year, a holiday celebrated globally by billions of people. The first of it's kind for us.

We felt strongly that we should keep it culturally accurate for our player base.

This update featured:
• A new Lunar themed lobby.
• A cosmetics bundle themed around Lunar.
• New lunar themed maps
• A floating lantern hunt.
• New parkour races in the hub.

It was highly rated by our players and was considered our best event ever. It was a well-timed and delivered update to launch after the Asia network launch and helped bolster our player count in the region.
